The year 2018 is entirely dedicated to photographer Cas Oorthuys, who's complete archive is conserved by the Nederlands Fotomuseum. Cas Oorthuys is one of the most influential of all 20th-century Dutch photographers. That's why the museum felt that the whole archive should be accessible to the public. The Nederlands Fotomuseum has worked over recent months to digitize the entire Oorthuys archive. The long-awaited retrospective, This is Cas | Vintage Photography by Cas Oorthuys, will open at the Nederlands Fotomuseum this fall.
