The Nederlands Fotomuseum and the Steenbergen Stichting proudly present the twenty-fifth edition of the most valued talent award for photography in the Netherlands. The jury nominated the best photographic graduation projects by five students of one of the Art Academies in the Netherlands. These works are shown during an exhibition at the Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam from 11 November 2022 until 8 January 2023. On 15 December, the winner of the Steenbergen Stipendium 2022 will be announced.
Due to circumstances, the exhibition has been extended until 15 January 2023.
The award ceremony has been postponed until further notice. Voting is possible until 8 January 2023.
The Steenbergen Stipendium is the oldest photography award in the Netherlands. At the same time, the nomination of the projects identifies innovation within photography and offers insight into how the new generation is using the medium. This makes the annual exhibition in the Nederlands Fotomusuem an important benchmark for the development of photographic talent.
