On Saturday the 9th of February, the Nederlands Fotomuseum and Haute Photographie will host a panel discussion about women in photography from 2 to 3 pm.
The discussion will be moderated by Catherine Troiano, curator of Photographs of the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Victoria and Albert, besides being the world's leading museum of art and design, has one of the most important photography collections in the world. Troiano will offer insights into this collection, which features an impressive amount of female artists. Accompanied by renowned artists Carla van de Puttelaar, Laura Hospes and Jitske Schols, Troiano delves into the often overlooked role of women in photography’s history, the current status quo and towards the future for female artists.
