Group visits

Groups who want to get more out of a visit to the Nederlands Fotomuseum may book a specially designed interactive guided tour. You have a choice of a guided tour of one or more exhibitions or a background story about the museum, the building and its surroundings. On the Diary page you can also find special guided tours that you can join on an individual basis.

possibilities
The content and approach of a guided tour can vary. The Education team will be pleased to go through the possibilities with you so that you can make a suitable choice before reserving. The tours are conducted by experienced, qualified guides with a knowledge of photography and its history. You can choose one of the following languages: Dutch, English, German and Chinese (Cantonese).

hours and size of group
Guided tours are given from Tuesday to Friday between 10.00 and 17.00 and in the weekend between 11.00 and 17.00. A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 persons can take part in each guided tour. If you want to reserve for larger groups it is possible to book several guided tours simultaneously.

costs and cancellations
A guided tour lasting about one hour costs € 50,- per group. The tour can be extended for an additional fee. The normal admission price for the museum also has to be paid per person. Tour operators are given a reduction on the admission price per person. Current prices are to be found on the Visitor information page. No charge is made for cancellations if they are made no less than six working days before the agreed date. 50% of the amount due is charged for cancellations made between five and two days in advance and the full amount for cancellations less than two days beforehand.
