You will need visual material for your articles about the Nederlands Fotomuseum, current exhibitions and future activities. The images that you can find via this page can be freely used for exhibition listings and articles about the subjects for which they are offered.
general conditions
You may use a maximum of two photographs once-only and free of charge for promoting a particular exhibition or the Nederlands Fotomuseum in general. The photographs may not be cropped and the captions supplied by the museum must be used in their entirety. None of these digital files may be stored electronically or mechanically without prior written permission of the copyright holder or his/her legal representative. The member of staff for PR & Marketing would appreciate it if you would send two copies of your review to the address below.
logging in and downloading
In order to download images you need to log in. Click on ‘Log in’ underneath this paragraph and fill in your user’s name and password. Then click on ‘Send’. Next, click on the subject of your choice and follow the procedure. Click on the photograph to download it in the original format. Wait until the window with the selected image appears. Then click with the right mouse button on the photograph and select the option ‘Save image as’. You can then store the image.

separate logging in names
If you do not yet have a user’s name and password please contact the member of staff for PR & Marketing in order to request them. There is a separate logging in procedure for the image bank and for this page, so you will need separate log in names and passwords. Permission from the Nederlands Fotomuseum is required for the use of images on other pages of this website. A fee is also charged. Read more about this on the
