Photographers
The photographers whose archives are administered by the Museum worked independently, or photographed on assignment. For instance, they did photographs for businesses, advertising agencies, theatres, film studios, daily papers and weekly magazines, publishers, and the government. Amateur photographers are also amply represented in the collection. They give us a look at their free time and hobbies, in which family, friends, vacation and nature often play an important role. instructions for use In this section you can search through the files on the photographers in the Nederlands fotomuseum. Each file has all sorts of information about one photographer. These can be images, titles of books about the photographer, or a short biography, but also basic information about the composition of the photographer’s archive. You can search by name, or by a key word. A large proportion of the texts are only available in English at this time. ordering photos Many of the images in the photographer’s files can be ordered as a print, or downloaded as a picture file.
