The American TIME Magazine photographer Callie Shell is well known for her photo essays on Barack Obama. She is covering him from 2004 on, and she still does, even at the White House. Her photographs give an insight of the person behind 'the skinny kid with a funny name'. She shows us Obama on and off stage, together with his wife Michelle and their two daughters. Earlier on Shell was the official photographer of Vice President Al Gore at the White House.

Monday March 29, Shell will be at the Nederlands Fotomuseum to tell about her photographs, her work as a news photographer, her position as the official photographer at the White House and her working relation with TIME Magazine. There will be time for book signing.
